Behind Bród Sports
We’re the Kearneys. We’re from County Down, GAA runs through everything we do, and Bród Sports is ours — built from scratch, built with pride, and built for people who feel exactly the same way about this sport as we do.
Bród Sports is primarily run by Anna and Jarlath. Anna is eighteen, she plays senior club camogie, u23 camogie with Down and with the Ulster University Senior team. She's also a full time university student studying Accounting and Law, and she coaches sport in after school clubs on top of all of that. Jarlath is fifteen, plays county minor hurling, club hurling at u16 and minor level and club Gaelic football at both levels too. He is completing his GCSE’s in School whilst also playing on the 4th & 5th Year Gaelic and Hurling Teams. He has also recently been chosen to represent Ulster at u16 level. Between the two of them, they are the engine behind everything you see here.
And our Dad. Born in Cork, hurling mad, and the steady hand that keeps everything moving behind the scenes. Two counties, one family, and a lot of passion for the GAA — that’s the foundation this brand was built on.
We started Bród Sports in the summer of 2025 with an Instagram page and one straightforward idea. We wanted to create something that actually felt like the GAA. Something specific, something meaningful, something that carried real weight. Bród is the Irish word for pride — and that word is not just our name. It’s our standard. Everything we put out has to live up to it.
The support we have received from our friends, our family, our club communities, and from customers who found us and felt something — it has meant more to us than we can properly put into words. That support is the reason we keep going, keep building, and keep raising the bar on what we put out.
We are just getting started. And we are so glad you’re here with us.
